what is cro tatting?
Tatting is a form of handcrafting lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, and other decorative pieces. It is done by rolling thread on several bobbins, and then looping and knotting the thread in a pattern, and is very similar to crochet. Cro-tatting is when some crochet stitches are interwoven in the tatting. Yes, it is very complicated and maybe even tedious, but the rewards of a job well done are worth the effort. Some people do not have the patience to do this type of work.
