Dmc Size
My digital camera seems to have size limit of about 2 GB and i want to delete that limit, but how?
I have a normal digital camera (Panasonic DMC-TZ8) which has got a video (HD 720p) size limit (2 GB) can i delete it? With my Nokia N8 i can record 50 minutes of video on that same memory card (16 GB).
I don’t think that the problem is in the memory card.
Other than mentioned above, there is a practical reason for not having one file larger than 2 gb.
When editing video, it is much easier to use small takes of from 15 to 90 seconds and edit to the script than to have to look through ten to fifteen minutes of streaming video just to find the gems.
If your goal is to really shoot video, then you may want to write a script before you start shooting and be disciplined in your shots.
A 400 foot roll of 16 mm motion picture film only lasts about 11 minutes. It is up to the director to make sure the maximum use is made from each roll. Use your camera the same way.
