Wind Chimes are the Perfect Outdoor Decor
Wind chimes are used allot for decorations these days. You can get them in tons of shapes, sizes, colors and sounds. Wind chimes served a more important purpose in their earlier days. Lawn Garden Decor
These decorative pieces were once used to warn people of bad weather. As you know in ancient times, people couldn’t listen to the radio, turn on the TV or go online to check the weather. This made it even harder for fishermen and farmers who had to work with and against these conditions.
Without sophisticated weather instruments in those days, these people were often at the mercy of unpredictable weather patterns that could make or break their livelihood. When bad weather means no fishing or planting crops, you could imagine how that could be bad for the community. Worse, bad weather could easily destroy their homes and sink their boats without warning.
A solution to prevent these things from happening was invented, windchimes. The suspension of tubs, metal and wood was all the required assembly.

It is said that wind chimes are originally from India. They were hung to keep birds and evil spirits out of pagodas. These wind bells made it China and then Japan and were used in temples and inside peoples homes. In parts of Asia they believe that they bring good luck.
