Searching For Hammock Swings?
We loved swinging on that hammock and spent many summer days dreaming under the summer sky. Our hammock was made from a greenish-gray army type canvas. But looking out at another grey, damp Monday morning, images of palm trees and white sand, the swell of the deep, blue ocean rolling over itself to kiss the shores in your hammock swings, the almost unmoving sun drenching everything in warm, golden rays, and the distant call of an exotic bird echoing from the misty groves seem so far away. Finally, you haul all this stuff back down the trail. When you feel like going to bed, you look around until you spot two trees about the right distance apart. In the morning, everything goes back into the stuff sack in less time than it takes to brush your teeth.
Hammocks are often associated with white and sandy beaches. The hammock is then stretched and hung between two points that are strong enough to hold a person’s weight, or maybe even the weight of several people. Also, there are hammocks that have been crafted to be very light, thus making them very ideal for people who are always on the go or to take on road trips. Going back to earlier times, hammocks have also been used on ships.
