Get Wild West Funky with Kids Cowboy Hats

What’s a cowboy without his hat?  Kids cowboy hats is a crucial piece in a cowboy ensemble.  It is something that every cowboy should have while they ride on horseback to protect them from the heat of the sun. This hat is made from straw, felt, or leather and has a wide brim with a tall rounded crown.  It has a plain hatband on the inside and a decorative band on the outside of the crown.  The hat is personalized or given more character by rolling the brim and creasing the crown.

Western theme parties are popular with the children – be it girls or boys.  When you dress them up like they do in the Old West whether as an outlaw or a sheriff, your kids are sure to enjoy playing a cowboy.  The boots, the jeans, checkered shirt, and the bandana with a sheriff’s badge and the toy gun in its holster strapped to the belt – would make your child every inch a cowboy.  And of course, it would not be complete without the kids cowboy hats.

These must have western hats for every cowboy are available in different colors with accessories.  They also come in pink and you know how most young girls love pink!  You can get them from the party supply stores or buy them online.  They would provide you with an authentic Wild West feel to your party from invitations to the games.  Yes, you can be creative in making invitations by making cute little cowboy hats with the details of the party inscribed on the brim, the side of the crown, or the hatband.  You decorate your place with cowboy hats hanging on the wall or make it an interesting centerpiece.  You can use it as a loot bag by putting goodies and other party favors inside the kids cowboy hat.  You can also have the cake in a cowboy design.  You can order them or if you know how to bake, then bake them yourself.  It is so simple to do.  You just bake two sets of cake, one round one that would serve as a crown and one sheet that you can shape to serve as the brim.  You can use chocolate or butter frosting and design them with candies or chocolates. 

You can also make this kids cowboy hats part of the games to make the party more fun and interesting for the kids.  Activities like design your own cowboy hat would be great for girls to express their creativity by painting the hat to make it colorful or adding beads or other accessories to the hat.  For the boys, you can incorporate the hat into the games like tossing something into the hat that is positioned at a certain distance.  It would also be fun if you have a contest on who can toss the hat onto the hat stand or onto somebody’s head.  There are a lot of traditional games that you do and make it more interesting by using the kids cowboy hat.  Be creative, be funky and enjoy the Wild West party.
