If your child is asking you for a Scooby Doo party, do not immediately say no, act as if you never heard your kiddo, or even scratch your head and sigh. Apart for the fact that your child will probably be really disappointed if you did not answer their request, hosting a Scooby Doo party is really easy.
Below are five ideas you can use to host a great Scooby Doo party:
1. Buy Plenty of Party Supplies. One of the easiest ways to get all the guests into the mood that your child wants is to buy Scooby Doo party supplies. With the use in the Internet you can choose everything you need from the comfort of your own home and have them delivered straight to your door.
You can purchase birthday favors (think of Scooby Doo cupcakes), food utensils, balloons, streamers, and a whole lot more. You can even have a cake artfully designed to imitate the beloved dog’s face.
2. Let’s Play Dress Up. Scooby Doo has his own gang, including his owner Shaggy. Encouraging all your guests to dress up can be a great way of getting everyone involved. Or you could pre-assign characters in order to ensure that everyone does not turn up as Scooby Doo.
Since everyone is dressed as the cast you could get them to act out a favourite scene from one of their favourite episodes.
3. Anyone for a Marathon. Are you currently tight on a budget or the venue does not have enough space to run around? A great way to continue the theme and involve the kids is to get some DVD’s and have a movie marathon.
There are so many versions of Scooby Doo movies, and there are hundreds of episodes that you can pick. Don’t stress too much about your choice, as long as the kids see Scooby Doo you will be fine.
4. Have Scooby Doo Pay a Visit To The Party. Try contacting your local mascot supplier and see if they could send someone along to the party. Some of them can bring along more treats for everyone to share, or the mascot can perform a special number for your child.
5. Make A Photo Wall. What better way to make sure your kids remember the Scooby Doo party than to set up a photo wall. You could let your guests get their picture taken with Scooby by getting a cardboard cut-out of their hero.
