EU customs classification amendment padded vest

EU Official Journal on March 24, 2010 announced the European Commission Regulation No. 246/2010, amended padded vest in the European Union combined tariff classification. This is an important amendment, in addition to a padded vest re-classification, and involves many types of jackets, such as anoraks, including snow jacket, wind jacket and wind jackets. 6102 – Knitted or crocheted women’s or girls overcoats, card song, capes, cloaks, anoraks (including ski jackets), wind jackets, wind jackets and similar products, but in 6104 other than those included in;

6201 – Men or boys overcoats, card song, capes, cloaks, anoraks (including ski jackets), wind shirt, wind jacket and similar products, but in 6203 other than those included – coats, raincoats , card song, capes, cloaks and similar articles; and

6202 – Women or girls overcoats, card song, capes, cloaks, anoraks (including ski jackets), wind jackets, wind jackets and similar products, but the 6204 are included in the exception – coats, raincoats, card song, capes, cloaks and similar articles.

No. Regulation No. 246/2010 amending the European Commission Regulation No. 989/89 provide for 6101,6102,6201 and 6202 consolidated tax code should also include padded vest, even if such products are not sleeves.
